About the ORganizers
Afárá began with two people who shared a love for fashion and a desire to create real opportunities for African designers.

Abidemi Offonry moved to Germany as a teenager and has since then built a career in software engineering and product development. A practical, execution-focused mindset combined with a natural eye for style created the foundation for Afárá’s tech-driven and culturally aware approach.

Yetunde Adetiba is a lifelong fashion enthusiast with ten years of experience in the payments industry. With a background in product ownership and analysis, she brings structure, business clarity and a deep commitment to helping African brands grow.
Together, we saw the same gap. African fashion is vibrant and innovative, yet many designers have limited access to European markets. At the same time, people in the diaspora and curious locals are eager to experience authentic African creativity.
Afárá exists to bridge that gap. Through curated pop-up events, we connect designers with new audiences and create spaces where culture, community and style come together.
This is our journey, and Afárá is the bridge that brings it all forward.
